No. It reads your effect list once and then sits idle until you press the key. Nothing polls your project.

Rebind it in the settings panel. The key is only captured while Premiere is the window in front, so the rest of your system keeps it.

Presets with masks can't be applied. Premiere has no API for creating a mask, so QuickFX still lists them in search but marks them N/A.

Premiere will not let a plugin write velocity handles. A preset with custom velocity curves is rebuilt frame by frame instead, so the motion matches but you get more keyframes than the original had.
